Organic  produce

The quality of the vegetarian food we serve is important to us, so as much as possible comes from our organic garden or is sourced from the wealth of local produce. On consultation, we are happy to cater for special diets.

Stepping out of the Retreat House, you find the Sanctuary, a purpose built building designed for tranquil meditation.  Enjoy a guided meditation or give and receive healing in sublime surroundings.

Further down the hill is the Priory, home to the owners and staff. On lawns within the circular driveway is a small bamboo grove, directing the way into a network of garden paths designed for contemplation, relaxation and deep contact with nature and ecology. Just fifty steps up the path one encounters a statue of St Francis of Assisi, leading to the well spring which provides our own natural, health giving waters

The superb earth energies of this location will become subtly apparent as you continue to walk through the fields belonging to the estate or sit beneath one of the ancient trees. A small lake is nestled in the trees. Surrounded by flora and fauna you may notice wild orchids, deer, fox, badger, owls and other birdlife. Our two horses are frequently  seen grazing or playing in one of the fields.
